2009, 2010

The Romanian Top 100 is the national airplay-based singles chart of Romania. It is weekly and it started running in 1996. It is recognized as an official chart by the European division of Billboard, Music & Media.[1]

The artist with the most number ones is Shakira with eight songs that reached number one. The positions before 2002 are still unknown except some songs, as the official site only has charts starting 2002. From 2002 to date it has had 120 number-one singles, the longest being "Say It Right" by Nelly Furtado, for twelve weeks.

Starting with October 2009, the chart is premierly presented on Kiss FM, each Sunday afternoon and on the official Romanian Top 100 homepage. The Kiss TV show presentes the chart with a delay of a week. The presenter is VJ Andreea Berghea.[2] The compiler of the chart was Nielsen from 1999 to 2010, but from 2010 - ongoing the chart is presented and compiled by Media Forest Romania, a franchise of an Israeli monitoring agency.

The current number-one single is "I Follow Rivers" by Lykke Li (since eight weeks).
